This is a biography about a very unusual person.

Big Talila is a male-to-female transsexual, tg, lesbian. Before her gender change, she was born as a man in Israel. For 20 years she worked as a prostitute, mostly on the streets of Tel Aviv.

For the last 8 years, she has been living as an expat in Pai, a little tourist town in northern Thailand. Recently she start living with a Lisu Hill Tribe family at the Nam Hoo village in Pai valley. On the image above, taken from the documentary film, we see Big Talila carrying bamboo poles that she has cut from the jungle. She will later use this bamboo to create a flower terrace in her backyard garden.

As a matter of fact, at that time in the army, she wasn't yet a transsexual. Talila was more like a gay drag transvestite, who wore a bra under the male soldier's uniform. During her first week in the Israeli Army, she didn't dare take a shower because she was afraid that her fellow male soldiers would see the nail polish on her feet...
